After a first explosive show at Kulturfabrik last November, Der Weg einer Freiheit is bringing back their suffocating black metal this autumn !

Formed in 2009 in Würzburg, Der Weg einer Freiheit is quickly in the talks on the extreme metal scene, especially after having toured with bands like Wolves in the Throne Room, Amenra or Neaera.

After the release of 2 albums and some line-up changes, the band signs with French label Season of Mist and record Stellar, released in March 2015. This album –and their increasing reputation, will take them to all the best metal festivals in Europe (Hellfest, Graspop, Roadburn,…)

In January 2017, Der Weg einer Freiheit is back in the studio to record their most-anticipating 4th album, planned for a release in summer.
And in September, they will embark for a big European tour with their friends from French band Regarde les hommes tomber.
