ronin hat den weg zu drumandbass vor nunmehr 7 jahren gefunden und hat sich über die jahre zu einem der wichtigsten mcs in deutschalnd entwickelt. er betreibt mit den jungs von precision breakbeat research eine booking und promotion agentur namens brokenbeatz, die aus der not heraus entstand, für precision djs shows zu aquirieren.
2000 lernte er die mute crew via internet kennen und es folgten einige furiose parties
mit unter anderem dj kabuki in zürich und umgebung und nach kurzer zeit auch die integration bei mute als resident-mc.
als sohn eines jazzmusikers kam er schon im zarten kindesalter von 3jahren in kontakt mit live musik und konnte sich bis heute diesem extrem addictiven medium nicht mehr entziehen. mit 14 startete er mit einem schulfreund ein hip-hop projekt, mit 17 eine band, die sich musiklaisch zwischen grunge und crossover bewegte. 1994 lernte er dann über ein weiteres band-projekt jan aka kabuki kennen, der ihn dann letztendlich mit dem drumandbass virus infizierte. bald darauf fand der erste auftitt als drumandbass mc longside dj kabuki statt und die geschichte nahem ihren lauf...
1996 kooperierte ronin mit megashira für den vocaltrack "overload". daraufhin folgte eine tour zusammen mit dem liveact "megashira", die in einem auftritt auf dem legendären "tribal gathering" in der nähe von london gipfelte.
seine philosophie am mikrophon ist es, die musik die erste geige spielen zu lassen und sich in den sound einzubetten.
